Entgegen anders lautenden Medienberichten liegen aktuell keine Vorschläge für Anbauverbote von seltenen und alten Obst- und Gemüsesorten in privaten Gärten vor.

Die deutsche Biotechnologie-Branche hat sich im Jahr 2012 gut entwickelt. Das gilt auch für ihr Finanzierungsumfeld; allerdings sind die Ausgaben für Forschung und Entwicklung erneut deutlich unter der Milliardengrenze geblieben.
